Recipe: Greek Salad with homemade Yogurt

A Healthy Salad to go with your roasted Chicken Tikka/Fish/or Paneer. The homemade greek yogurt makes it more healthy and delicious.

Ingredients

  • Lettuce
  • Broccoli (blanched)
  • Red & Yellow Capsicum
  • Zucchini
  • Small White Onions
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Cucumber
  • Greek Yogurt 2 tbs
  • Fresh Basil 5-6 leaves
  • Italian Mix Spice
  • Chilli Flakes
  • Lemon Juice 1 tsp
  • Olive Oil 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Method For Greek Yogurt

  • Make Curd from skimmed milk
  • Hung the curd in a clean muslin cloth for 3 to 4 hrs till all the water is drained
  • Store in a container and put it in freezer for further use

Method For Salad

  • Take yogurt in a small bowl. Keep aside to let it come to real temperature
  • Chop the Vegetables in 1″ square
  • Mix all the vegetables in a mixing bowl
  • Add spices, lemon juice, olive 0il and salt to the yogurt
  • Add this mixture to the vegetables and mix properly.
