Recipe: Chocolate – Banana – Dates – Oats Energy Bar

A very healthy mid time snack full of protein, carbs and fibre with the benefit of vitamins and minerals in banana, dates and B protin. Also good as pre workout snack.

Ingredients

  • Oats 1cup
  • Banana 2 (small one)
  • whole eggs 2
  • D protin 60 g
  • 80% Dark Chocolate 30g
  • Dates 4
  • Milk 1/4 cup
  • Clarified Butter 4 tssp
  • Crushed Walnuts

Method

  • Pre-heat the oven to 180 degree
  • Soak the dates in milk for half an hour
  • Add the Bananas and make a paste in the mixie
  • Melt the chocolate in double boiler
  • Separately mix together Oats, protein powder and walnuts
  • Whip together clarified Butter and eggs in a bowl till smooth
  • Add dark chocolate and Banana-Dates paste to it
  • Slowly add the mixture of oats and mix gently
  • Bake for 20 mins.
